The Ritz Carlton Chocolate Bar

On Valentines Day, and every Friday and Saturday night in February, you can enjoy a gourmet buffet of chocolate desserts at the Rise Bar at the Ritz Carlton New York, Battery Park. With a remarkable selection of decadent cakes, cookies, crisps, tarts and more prepared by Award-winning Pastry Chef Laurant Richard, the Ritz Carlton Chocolate Bar is a true chocolate lover’s event. The buffet will be served on a chocolate table, warm molten chocolate cake will be made to order and a selection of Chef Richard’s famous chocolate statues will be on display. If you can take your eyes off the impressive array of desserts, the Rise Bar also offers a view of the Statue of Liberty and New York Harbor. The all you can eat buffet is $65 per person (tax and tip included) and includes a complimentary glass of champagne.

I wasn’t planning on spending Valentine’s Day in New York, but how can I pass this up? My suitcase is packed! Start preparing the molten.

HEY - LOOKIN’ GOOD! CAN’T BELIEVE HOW MUCH WORK YOU PUT INTO THIS. LET ME TELL YOU - A $65 BUFFET SHOULD OFFER A WHOLE BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE, NOT JUST A GLASS! HOWEVER, I STILL JUST WANT TO GET TO STARBUCKS & SAMPLE THE DRINKING CHOCOLATE THING! DO I HAVE A WAY WITH WORDS OR WHAT?!? I’LL TRY TO KEEP UP WITH ALL YOUR POSTINGS, ALTHOUGH YOU AREN’T HELPING TO KEEP ME FOCUSED ON THINGS WITHOUT CALORIES…YIKES! GREAT JOB THO!

I was recently a guest at the Ritz, Battery Park and loved the caramelson the 12th floor.

Where can I buy the caramel candy that you have on the consierge floor?

I would appreciate it if some would email me the name, phone number and email address for the caramel maker.

Thank you.
