Make it an entire weekend of dessert in May! The French Culinary Institute’s 2nd Annual Passion for Pastry Conference will be held in New York City on May 15.
A total of twelve workshops will be offered where attendees can taste delicious dessert creations and learn how to bake like a professional from the best pastry chefs in the industry. My favorite event from last year’s conference, Cake Decorating with Ron Ben-Israel, will be held again, along with new demonstrations from Pichet Ong from Spice Market, Jason Licker from the Peninsula Hotel, Lauren Dawson from Hearth, Gina DePalma from Babbo and more. The conference is also a great opportunity to network with other dessert lovers and go home with book full of recipes and a bag full of goodies.
