New York Pastry Tour

New York City’s Institute of Culinary Education just released their summer catalog, which includes a new walking tour of great pastry shops in downtown Manhattan. The tour starts at City Bakery (I’m willing to count their fantastic chocolate chip cookies as pastry) and continues on through Amy’s Bread, Vosges Haute Chocolate, Cones for Gelato, Magnolia Bakery, Polka Dot Café, The Chocolate Bar and many more. The first tour isn’t until August 20, but if you’re interested I recommend signing up as soon as possible. The chocolate tour offered last spring sold out immediately and had a wait list longer than the worst line at Magnolia.

ONE COMMENT SO FAR...

Damn, that sounds yummy! I’ve been to or tried something from most of those places already, but I want to know what the “many more” are. How much can one take in one day?

I’m going to think about how many pastries I can buy with $70. Bwahaha. :)

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
