A co-worker decided against a traditional cake when she got married as well. She chose a more southern alternative......a Krispy Kreme doughnut cake. Yes, that's right...doughnuts. They were glazed and stacked in rings with each level getting smaller to form a pyramid shaped ensamble. Her guests loved it. How cool and unique! Another great part about our source was the sample box they sent, where we needed to choose which flavors among the ~20 we would want. We certainly enjoyed the process :-D They were awesome!
