Save CBGBs: Eat More Chocolate

CBGB Punk Rock Box by Chocolate Bar

Chocolate Bar, a retro candy shop in Greenwich Village, is hoping to use the power of chocolate to save CBGB, a classic New York rock institution in danger of closing. In honor of this cause, Chocolate Bar is launching a limited edition line of CBGB chocolates, including the Punk Rock Box (a 16 piece truffle collection embossed with iconic imagery of CBGBs) and Retro Bars (Peanut Butter & Jelly, Key Lime Pie, Caramel Apple and more). The Punk Rock Box also includes a record-shaped biography, steel logo keychain and a collection of CBGB stickers. All CBGB items include a postage-paid petition you can sign and send in to help save the historic venue.

To kick off the collaboration, Chocolate Bar is hosting an all-chocolate, all rock and roll experience at the famous CBGB club. Music will be provided by the band Chocolate Genius, and the new CBGBs by Chocolate Bar collection will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from the chocolate will go to CBGBs. If you’re willing to put down the chocolate for a second, a petition to save the club will also be available to sign.
