Sweet Exercise

Yoga and Chocolate

Not only is chocolate encouraged by a yoga course, it is actually provided for you. Vosges Chocolate is partnering with yoga centers across the United States to offer a chocolate and yoga experience. Workshops begin and end with chocolate tastings, with a little yoga “exercise” thrown in the middle.

At the New York session, held October 29 at Exhale spa, you’ll enjoy chocolatier Katrina Markoff’s Indian-inspired Naga chocolate, with sweet Indian curry powder, coconut, and milk chocolate and the Red Fire dark chocolate, consisting of Mexican ancho and chipotle chili peppers, ceylon and cinnamon. This is certainly a different experience than my last exercise class where the instructor yelled out, “Get moving ladies, you’re not here for coffee and cake.” I should have suggested we have chocolate.

Thanks Molly!

Now that’s my kind of exercise! Although I’m not so sure about curry powder or chipotle chili peppers in my chocolate.

I especially like the curry/coconut & milk chocolate bar. I would even do yoga for it.

We sell the Vosges chocolate bars and they are all amazing. I love the idea. Sounds like a happy ending to a yoga class. Om…

While staying at the W Hotel in San Diego they brilliantly sent some Vosges caramel toffee to my room which I devoured. While in Chicago last week I took a stop off at one of their stores and was amazed at the genious of this chocolate line. While some of the flavors get carried away with exotic flavors I will say I left deeply impressed by how well their exceptional product comes off.And I am typically not a fan of complicated chocolates.I did an extensive tasting and purchasing marathon :) In closing their is something for everyone here those that want simplicity and those seeking a complete adventure in daring combinations.DO not miss a tasting here at least once in your life it is a very special product.I was uneasy at first when they told me what was in the some of the chocolates.Tasting took away any doubt and I am typically prefer very simple chocolate! Cheers
