Gingerbread Homes for Animals

Gingerbread Animal HomesThis holiday season your dog’s dream for an edible home has come true. Pastry chefs from around New York City were asked to create gingerbread homes inspired by the animals they love. The edible shelters will be on display at Central Park’s Dana Discovery Center from December 1-11, 2005. Admission is free and visitors can participate in arts and crafts workshops, including cookie decorating, and enter a raffle to wine one of the creations. Visitors on Dec. 4 from 2-5pm will also be able to take a picture with a giant miniature schnauzer (not sure if this is in edible form or not!) All proceeds go to benefit at-risk animals.

Hi Kelli, I went to this exhibit yesterday. When I saw the Polka Dot house, I thought of you.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
