Amai @ Henri Bendel

Henri Bendel Trunk Show

Amai will be featured at Henri Bendel’s Tea Trunk Show this week from Monday, August 28 to Sunday, September 3, 2006. As you walk in the front door of this famous 5th avenue department store, you will see Amai’s Tea Sweets and Botanical Brownies for sale.

This is the first time our new, red gift-box packaging will be available in stores. You can also buy our new Tea Sweets 10-Cookie Canister in all 5 Tea Sweets Flavors (Earl Grey & Currant, Green Tea, Lemongrass & Ginger, White Tea & Strawberry and Chai Almond).

Our display will be alongside Ito En, a wonderful Japanese tea shop (and producer of Teas’ Tea) and Deep Steep, a skincare company featuring products made with tea. I will be “manning the booth” most days, explaining Amai products to all interested shoppers. Please stop by and say hello, and pick-up your very own Tea Sweets and Botanical Brownies. Hope to see you all this week at Henri Bendel.

Wow, I am so excited to see Amai’s Tea Sweets in Henri Bendel. This is a perfect match. Each cookie or brownie is a delicate gift in it self. Perfect with tea, coffee or what ever you are sipping. It’s like taking a mini vacation at your desk.

Thanks everyone. It has been quite an experience hanging out at Henri Bendel. I am working alongside the staff from Ito-En who are wonderful and very knowledgeable about tea. I have also learned a lot about our product – it is very well received, but I want to improve many things. For example, I don’t think our product stands out as much as I would like it to on a shelf. We’ll be looking at the colors/wording on the packages for the next round of designs.

I would have never imagined myself here. Things can certainly change in one year!
