Here I am planning a cupcake shop tour for the third week in October when I'm in Manhattan...and feeling rather guilty about it!
After reading Kelli's plan, I think perhaps I'm not so crazy after all (besides it gets me to different locales around the city which gives me a chance to explore the different neighbourhoods)

Thank you for the great suggestions! I must get to The Chocolate Room and Doughnut Plant on my rounds. I believe my first stop will be Chickalicious. It's embarassing that I haven't been there yet :) I'll start posting about my visits later in the week...

Kristin-- I would recommend having your mom call instead of me. It will be much more effective that way :)

Jessica -- Yes, we definitely have to get to some places together. I'll send you an e-mail.

Malini -- Of course, pictures are a must! Hopefully you can take a break from your routine and get to some bakeries too.

Carol - Thank you so much for checking us out at Village Market. I hope to get to many more places on the West Coast soon.

Hey Kelli,
How about Ceci-Cela, Patisserie Claude and La Maison du Chocolat? Also The Chocolate Room in Brooklyn. BTW, we still haven't gone on our dessert outting, so I'm up for it whenever you are. Just let me know the time and place!
